Over the past six months, I have instructed Lorraine, owner of Sage Proofreading & Copyediting Services, to proofread extremely technical documents relating to my company’s work.
In essence, my company cannot tolerate any form of error or give misleading information. At first, I think there was an element of doubt of what to expect on both our parts, but although Lorraine was never asked to check what she was proofreading other than the spelling, she did.
I appreciate with any document that is “legal” comes with a cost, but yesterday I finally had the content of my company website signed off by a prominent King’s Counsel…
